Ongoing since 1987, the Tuesday Night Group offers
Miracles, Mastery, Spiritual Community and Fun!
Every Tuesday 6:30-9:30 PM at Lynn Woodland's home in south Minneapolis
With a special emphasis on practical spirituality and redefining the nature of reality as we know it, the group is a lively, engaging opportunity for achieving personal goals, learning skills, healing, developing spiritual community and having fun. Typically, members notice significant positive life changes within weeks of joining the group.
Lynn Woodland has been teaching the quantum and metaphysical principles popularized in "The Secret" for more than thirty years. Her work is particularly known for being practical and for creating powerful results in a short amount of time. The format and atmosphere put beginners and even those who don't usually like groups at ease. The content provides enough depth and variety to engage serious spiritual students. Regular attendance is requested to participate.
Each week is different. The themes listed below are touched upon in many different group sessions. In a general way, the content of the group flows with the seasons. In spring and summer, the seasons of increased light, warmth and rapid growth, more emphasis is given to the law of attraction, practical manifesting techniques, prosperity, creating ease and calling dreams down to earth. In fall and winter, the darker months, more attention is given to shadow work, healing, death and dying, communion with Higher Power and opening to the magic and wonder of life. Each class is designed to be complete experience for those not able to make a weekly commitment, however each session builds upon the next and regular attendance is recommended for maximum benefit.
What's coming up in Lynn's Tuesday Class
December Magic
Five Tuesdays in December with Lynn Woodland 6:30-9:30 PM
Invoking a Magical Healing Symbol
Tuesday, December 1, 6:30-9:30
In this class you'll discover and work with a spiritual image filled with meaning and guidance for your coming year.
Gifts of Magic ~ Magic, Miracles & Presents!
Tuesday, December 8, 6:30-9:30 PM
This class begins with every participant receiving a "gift of magic" and culminates with everyone learning and practicing the spiritual art of miracle-making. In this darkest time of year that gives rise to the numerous holidays of light, it's easy to feel weighed down by depression or carried away in the bustle of holiday activity. This event is both grounding and uplifting, combining the fun of opening presents with the practical spirituality that brings dreams to life.
Releasing the Old ~ Through the Healing Power of Dark
Tuesday, December 15, 6:30-9:30 PM
In this class we'll focus on the much overlooked healing power inherent in this seasonal time of greatest darkness, using it as a catalyst for letting go of what we no longer need, getting unstuck and creating a breakthrough experience. This session creates a powerful foundation for the Winter Solstice Event on the 22rd.
The Winter Solstice Miracle of Light - Lynn's 23nd Annual Winter Solstice Celebration
Tuesday, December 22, 6:30-9:30 PM
Do the pleasure, joy, and wonder of the winter holiday season get lost for you amidst shopping, parties, and family obligations? This event goes right to the heart of the season: the recovery of warmth, love and light at a time of greatest darkness. If your spark has been low lately, this celebration will help rekindle joy, faith and wonder so you will find renewal from this season's holidays of light.
Preparation: Bring a wrapped gift to give away that represents all the good you wish to invite into your life in the coming year.
New Year's Special Event (and "Boxing Day")
Tuesday, December 29, 6:30-9:30 PM
The year's end holds such a strong collective mind-set of new beginnings and light returning that it's a potent time to do spiritual work. In this event we will set a tone for the year, not with quickly broken resolutions, but by claiming a spiritual power that will grow steadily within us over time. Also, in celebration of the traditional day-after-Christmas "Boxing Day" you're invited to bring any unwanted holiday gifts that weren't quite "you" and perhaps go home with one that is!
Participation requests:
- Please come on time and plan to attend the entire evening. Arriving late or leaving early can be disruptive to the group process. Call to clear it with me if you'd like to attend only part of a Tuesday session.
- Keep personal sharing of other group members confidential.
Payment
This group is offered unconditionally on a self-determined contribution basis. At the end of each session there is an opportunity to give money. You are trusted to give what's right for you. The typical contribution per week is between $20-50. This is not a suggested minimum donation. What individuals give literally ranges from 0 to thousands. In deciding what to give, consider what you want to receive from the group and ask your inner guidance to suggest the appropriate amount that will give value to your experience. There is a meditation at the end of every session to help you listen for your true voice of guidance so it is not overshadowed by the fear of giving too much or guilt about giving too little.
The fall season, when the harvest is done and fields lie dormant, invites us to let go and live empty for a time to ensure future growth. The fall Thanksgiving holiday provides the perfect opportunity to stop, reflect, give thanks for what has been, and to share our abundance. In keeping with the season, this special event works in a very practical way with spiritual dimensions of release, thanksgiving and sharing abundance. More than a give-away, this evening is a powerful spiritual ritual that will open us to increased prosperity and abundance of all sorts.
Preparation for this event:
Bring up to a shopping bag full of high quality, usable items you no longer need, use or value but which may be of value to someone else. These items are to be released unconditionally (i.e. without any conditions as to where they go). The purpose of this exercise is to practice letting go of things we are holding from a place of fear-based conditioning rather than because we love, value and use them. Thoughts such as, "What if I need it someday?" or, "It cost a lot so I shouldn't let it go," or "Better save it for hard times to come," are examples of fear-based motives for holding on to things. Letting go of unnecessary excess is an important part of opening to abundance because, in order to create more of what we really want, we must first have room for it in our lives. If we are filled up with what is no longer useful, be it material things, relationships, activities or thoughts, we become like stagnant pools, too full to receive anything new and fresh.
Bring only quality items--no thrift store rejects. This exercise is most powerful when we stretch a bit and let go of things we ordinarily wouldn't consider giving away yet still fit the criteria of no longer being used or valued.
Location
The Tuesday Class is currently meeting at Lynn's home (and, consequently, is space-limited). It's near the Eat Street district of Nicollet Ave in S. Minneapolis. Call for directions.
