About the Miracle Experiment

The Miracle Experiment was first introduced in Lynn Woodland’s book, Holding a Butterfly—An Experiment in Miracle-Making. It is a gathering of people outside of time and space, who join in love to create a growing snowball of consciousness. It invites all participants to bypass the presumed boundaries of space and time (boundaries that science is showing to be permeable beyond our wildest imaginings) to reach out in loving compassion to all other participants, wherever they happen to be in space/time.

The “experiment” involves focusing, directing and tapping this collective energy of love in an imaginative variety of ways to see what miracles we can create for ourselves, for each other, and for the world beyond. The Miracle Experiment operates beyond cause and effect, linear time, and natural law as we think of it. Even so, it simply finds new applications for what science has already proven, or strongly suggested, to be possible.

This work doesn’t simply update popular law of attraction teachings or offer a new technique for getting what we want. The Miracle Experiment presents a whole new paradigm for accomplishing more together than we ever could separately. While miracles heal us and fulfill our hearts’ desires, they’re not about these outcomes. Miracles are such a direct experience of God and unconditional love that they change us. They don’t just create results on demand.
