".....Vertical, meaning actual growth and transformation, and horizontal meaning simply a translation of, or a different way of relating to, the level you're already at. Vertical development would mean an actual transformation or an actual shift in one's level of consciousness. If you imagine a ten-storey building, vertical transformation is moving from one floor to a higher floor. Horizontal translation is moving furniture around on the same floor."

"Lynn Woodland has written a very beautiful piece of work that is as profound as it is powerful. Initially, I was a little disappointed that it was "only about miracles" since my major interest is in expanding consciousness. Very soon, however, I realized that Lynn was being sneaky about the consciousness part.
Her focus is about creating miracles, for sure, but she is subtle about how she includes the quantum physics of reality and consciousness as a theme underlying each idea. I would say, this book is like the incoming tide, subtle but undeniably powerful and transformative. Before you know it, you are immersed in the depth and complexity of the energy of expanding consciousness. It goes way beyond books like The Secret and The Law of Attraction.

“I know this sounds crazy, but last night when I started reading your book, I was just finishing with chapter-1 and read the line, ‘After you have done this, if you notice a waft of rose scent that has no discernible source or you see butterflies......’ At that very moment I read the word ‘butterflies,’ a small moth landed on my right forearm as I was holding the book reading. Yesterday I had a sore throat and swollen tonsils enough to call the doctor for an appointment. Shortly there after I started to noticeably recover. I ended up canceling my appointment feeling much better by afternoon. This morning my throat was sore again which was frustrating. Preparing for my morning meditation I noticed your book and randomly opened to Healing a condition at its start. Quite timely. "In September I received the notice from a surgeon that I had advanced oral cancer. … I interviewed hospice teams and prepared my funeral. A friend contacted me and encouraged me to attend the Ulm/Woodland healings being held locally. I attended for two nights in a row and felt amazing energy surges throughout the sanctuary where the healings were being held. For the 48 hours after the services, I felt a swirling energy-type movement around my entire body. At the encouragement of friends, I met with a fourth surgeon after I had attended the healing services. He noted that the tumor seemed to be growing 'out' rather than 'in,' and felt he could quite easily remove it. [The morning after attending the Miracle Experiment Weekend] "My clinic director just asked me to step into my office to tell me something....so I attentively listened, ready for anything....he wanted me to know that the Comp and Benefits committee has just approved a 30% increase in our compensation starting January 1! He also shared with me that several members of the committee wanted to gradually increase our salaries over several years....however, the director spoke up in our behalf stating that the marketing evidence indicates that we had been underpaid and producing well for many years and that..."we deserve" the increase now! ..also, by the way, money was what I [intended to manifest]."
