The next “POWER!” INTENSIVE

 March 28-April 1

This session has the theme of “LEADERSHIP

We’re in the midst of terrible times and wonderful times that will continue to invite us, or force us, out of our comfort zones. Leaders are needed who are capable, not just of right action but of heroic magnitudes of being, understanding and loving; leaders who recognize that consciousness, not force, is the power that will take us where we need to go. This kind of leadership begins with the courage to change oneself before asking it of others and a willingness to release the illusions of blame and victimization. As we commit to this process of self-transformation, we can’t help but take others with us. We become leaders in the highest sense. If you’re feeling called to make a greater difference in the world, this session of Power! may be for you.

About the Power! Intensive

I began offering these 5-day intensives in 1987, driven by my growing fascination with real-life miracles, following fifteen years of work in fields of transpersonal psychology, metaphysics and Attitudinal Healing. Nowadays, books and movies like “The Secret” and “What the Bleep” have introduced “the Law of Attraction” and other New Thought concepts into mainstream conversation and, as even first-time practitioners of the Law of Attraction can attest to, creating an isolated result is easy. To live these principles consistently, though, is a lifelong journey.

Even for the most dedicated students of New Thought spirituality there can be big gaps between the ideas we entertain and the unconscious core beliefs that drive our lives and determine our experiences. These gaps result in wheel-spinning where no amount of effort seems to change our pattern of struggle in certain areas of life. The shift from unconscious wheel-spinning to true empowerment, paradoxically, takes less effort, less pain and struggle than everything else we’ve tried. Yet, its very unfamiliarity can make the path of true power feel excruciatingly out of our comfort zone and counter to all our past conditioning. It requires using familiar resources in unfamiliar ways, stretching our imaginations to places they’ve never been before, doing things we’ve been told we shouldn’t or couldn’t, surrendering where we usually exercise control and most of all, going bravely into the unknown. The process can be at different times terrifying, exhilarating and ecstatic. It’s always easier when we do it together rather than alone.

The Power Intensive provides a safe container for this journey into True Power. The process asks us to unlearn everything we thought we knew for certain, shed remnants of the past we thought we were already done with, discern our most passionate callings and strengthen our will. It lifts us to moments of ecstatic peak life experience where healing and manifestation happen instantaneously, and sets us down again feeling less afraid of uncertainty; more trusting in the process of life. If I said I knew what would happen in each intensive, I’d be lying. It’s truly a laboratory for experimentation; a crucible for transformation with each session being as different and unpredictable as the people in attendance and the times we’re in. Those who’ve attended one Power Intensive often come back again and again because each experience is a new adventure and cultivates a new dimension of empowerment.

POWER! is a workshop I recommend for who people who already have a sense of their own power and are ready to achieve a higher degree of mastery. When such a group of people come together, there truly is no limit to what we can create. What are appropriate goals to bring to the Power Intensive? No less than your highest dreams and heart’s desires. Understand, however, that stepping into True Power opens the door to dreams you never thought to dream before. You may discover things your heart has always longed for but your mind has never known how to name, and these will undoubtedly require leaving your comfort zone far behind. And now, if you’re excited, a little afraid, and ready for a big leap, you may be a candidate for the upcoming session of POWER!

About the Process

Lynn Woodland's 5-Day Power Intensive is a mental, emotional and spiritual challenge program designed for people who already have an awareness of their strengths and are ready to take success to a new level. It blends mental repatterning, emotional healing and spiritual empowerment into a fluid process that is more co-created group experiment than seminar.

The powerfully cathartic peak-life experience that results enables people to make remarkable leaps in their capacity to achieve, to heal, and to feel joy. The format includes lectures, guided exercises, small group work and unstructured time, during which a wide range of issues are addressed. Each session is as different as the individuals in attendance and the process encourages all participants to become leaders, healers and teachers.

While there are no prerequisites for attending, this workshop is not an introductory level program. As Lynn Woodland's most intensive offering, it asks a lot of participants in order to deliver powerful results. It is for those who are truly committed to making their goals and dreams reality and have a lot to bring to the experience.

What makes this workshop so "challenging"?

Is it confrontational?

The greatest challenge in the Intensive is its emphasis on personal accountability. Also, being a laboratory rather than a classroom, the objective is to practice principles of spiritual empowerment in the moment rather than talk about them. This challenges everyone (including the facilitator) not to slide into unconscious habits that keep us limited. There are numerous instructions and exercises designed to keep us more conscious in each moment than we usually are in life. These things are experienced by virtually everyone in the workshop as personally challenging. It is, however, at these points of challenge that we are best able to leave the old behind and access new levels of power.

Lynn facilitates all this with a light touch filled with compassion and humor. She creates an atmosphere of safety and trust where everyone (herself included!) can begin to progress beyond fears, blind spots and unconscious self-sabotage. There is room for everyone to participate at their own pace and comfort level. The depth of the experience evolves naturally through acceptance and love with no need for shame-based, confrontational tactics that artificially induce intensity.

Power! is offered on a self-determined fee basis. To enroll, you are required to give a $150 deposit which is nonrefundable if you do not attend or complete the entire workshop. This deposit serves as your commitment to use the space you have reserved. It also screens out people who wish to drop in briefly out of curiosity and would diffuse the power of the experience for those who are committed to participating fully.

Power! is offered to you unconditionally with no set fee or required minimum payment. The typical per person average payment for this workshop has been between $800 and $1,200. You will be asked to decide what you wish to give near the end of the workshop. You are given complete freedom to determine your own payment and what you choose to give is confidential. There is no pressure to give a minimum amount. Typically, individual payment amounts range from 0 to thousands. Only you know what is the right amount for you. This payment process is an important part of the workshop curriculum, which includes examining and healing our relationship to money. Believing that you "can't afford it" is never a valid reason for choosing not to attend.
