Lynn's Tuesday Night Group

Ongoing since 1987

Every Tuesday at Lyndale UCC, 6:30-9:30 PM

Practical spirituality for achieving goals, awakening intuition, developing spiritual community and much more.

Emphasizing practical, New Thought spirituality, the group is a lively, engaging opportunity for achieving personal goals, learning skills, healing, developing spiritual community and having fun. Positive change happens more quickly in a group setting and, typically, members notice significant positive shifts within weeks of joining the group. Regular attendance is suggested but not require.

Each week is different. The themes listed below are touched upon in many different group sessions. In a general way, the content of the group flows with the seasons. In spring and summer, the seasons of increased light, warmth and rapid growth, more emphasis is given to the law of attraction, practical manifesting techniques, prosperity, creating ease and calling dreams down to earth. In fall and winter, the darker months, more attention is given to shadow work, healing, death and dying, communion with Higher Power and opening to the magic and wonder of life. Each class is designed to be complete experience for those not able to make a weekly commitment, however each session builds upon the next and regular attendance is recommended for maximum benefit.

    The Content Includes
  • The Law of Attraction
  • Opening to Prosperity, Releasing Scarcity
  • Accessing Our Power to Heal
  • Awakening Intuition
  • Discovering Life Purpose
  • Getting Unstuck
  • Being of Service
  • & Much More

Spiritual Healing Summer Camp!
With Lynn Woodland
Friday-Sunday, August 22-24

Treat yourself to a weekend of good company, relaxation and self-care in a facility with outdoor swimming, hot tub, sauna, walking trails and more, as you learn techniques of spiritual and energetic healing.

Focusing on practice and application, this three-day workshop is an opportunity to learn skills and experience a deeply nurturing and uplifting personal healing retreat. You'll leave feeling refreshed and inspired, with insight into your own healing process as well as a deepening of yourself as a healer. The content has much to offer both the experienced healing practitioner and the beginner. The Saturday evening session is reserved for informal practice, swimming, and growth-related play with a variety of spiritual tools.

    Some topics addressed include:
  • Energy healing and assessments techniques
  • Developing the ability to perceive energy changes in the aura surrounding the body
  • Working with spiritual healing
  • Understanding the difference between spiritual healing and energy work
  • Understanding the emotional dynamics underlying physical illness
  • The healing power of prayer
  • Intuitive channeling, spontaneous healing and more

This event is part of the Master Class Series of classes and weekend workshops on personal mastery that, when completed in entirety, qualify participants for ordination through Miracles of the Spirit Church. They're not sequential and will continue to be offered throughout the year. They're open to all, not just those seeking ordination.

  • For Sunday, bring a snack to share, if you wish.

Preparation for Saturday:

See if you can find at least one person willing to be a recipient of healing prayer from our group who's willing to share with you some details about their healing needs. These can be physical, mental, emotional or circumstantial. Their information will be anonymous; we won't share names or reveal details beyond age, gender and the healing issues they describe.

Write on a 3x5 card: On one side, write your name at the top of the card and under your name write your healing recipient's age and gender. On the back of the card, write some information about their healing issues. If need be, use a separate piece of paper to record the full extent of their healing issues if these won't fit on one side of a card.

Lynn's Annual Fall Equinox Event
Tuesday, September 23, 6:30-9:30 PM at Lyndale UCC

Every Solstice and Equinox, Lynn leads a special event to help us attune to the archetypal cycle of growth represented by each seasonal change. The fall season urges us to look within, shed what's no longer needed and, ultimately, prepare ourselves for new growth. This can be the most challenging phase of a growth cycle, involving endings, leaps of faith, surrender and living empty for a time. This event is for healing from the inside out, releasing aspects of self that no longer serve us, and finding peace. Cost: payment by self-determined offering ($20-50 is typical, nothing is mandatory). Call to register: 651-642-5405. Please plan to attend the whole evening.

About Lyndale United Church of Christ

810 West 31st Street, 1 block west of Lyndale Avenue, in Uptown.  www.lyndaleucc.org

Lyndale UCC is offering a welcoming space for my classes as well as a spiritual community I now call home. If you don't know about this unpretentious little Uptown church, it’s friendly, highly progressive, broadminded, known for its inclusiveness and its encouragement of divergent spiritual thought. It adheres to no rigid formulation of doctrine, holding that, "God is still speaking." When I first came here after months of church shopping, I felt immediately welcomed. More importantly, I felt the “heart” of authentic spiritual seeking, not dependent upon the flash and trappings of spiritual entertainment. That works for me! I’m there on Sundays and I’d love to have you join me. Sunday service is at 10:30 AM.
